General Rules

  1. Choose the right mount: Opt for a phone mount specifically designed for cars. Ensure the suction cup or adhesive is firmly attached to the windshield. Test the mount's stability before driving.

  2. Consider the placement: Position the mount in the upper center of your windshield for optimal visibility. Make sure no objects obstruct the camera's view of the road.

  3. Orientation: Ensure your phone is mounted horizontally for vertical video recording. Make sure no objects obstruct the camera's view of the road.

  4. Adjust the camera angle: Tap "New Record" on the main screen of the app and adjust your phone's camera angle to capture the road ahead. Make sure the guide lines are aligned with the road ahead.

  5. Power supply: Consider using a car charger to keep your phone charged while recording. Some mounts come with integrated charging capabilities.

  6. Legal considerations: Be aware of local laws regarding phone usage while driving. In some places, using a phone as a dash cam might be restricted.
