Support & Costs

Q: Which area/country is support based on and what are the hours of support? A: Roadly provides email-based support within 24 hours. The support team is based in the US and the Philippines.

Q: When was your organization established and how long has this application/solution been in existence?

A: Roadly Inc was established in 2014. We do Asset Inspections since 2022.

Q: How is the solution priced, considering: Number of mobile devices collecting data? A number of users accessing the data? Length/size of video captured?

A: If the data is collected by the client, then the number of devices and platform users is unlimited. The price is only affected by the length of the road network and the number of inspections made. Additionally, once new types of assets are added to the platform, offering their detection from the existing dataset as an additional option to the original price could be available.

Q: Amount of data extracted?

A: The processing results extraction does not affect the initial price; however, additional fees may apply if there is a need for bulk downloading of raw data.

Q: Asset types collected/analyzed? (Ie. signs, road defects, signals, markings, etc)

Condition information assessed (physical condition of signs, roads, sidewalks, signals, markings, etc)

A: As mentioned above, adding new assets to the platform affects the initial price. If there is a need to receive a specific asset type, it may either be included in existing subscriptions or be available as a separate product depending on the development process.

Q: AI to flag locations of missing assets A: At this time, this AI system has not been implemented into production yet. Once we add it, it will detect changes and the disappearance of assets at no additional cost.

Q: Scalability of services based on seasonal use of the service (Ie scale up in the summer, scale down in the winter)

A: Based on the subscription period, the customer can drive a specific amount of time on the road network. The price is static and only depends on the total number of drives.

Q: There was mention of frequencies of work to influence costs of subscriptions – what options are available to reduce costs of the service/subscription?

A: The more times you inspect the same area, the cheaper it is for you with each inspection.

Q: If we were interested in doing a pilot, would there be a cost associated with it, or what limitations would be involved in a use case (Ie limited features, limited capture, etc)?

A: We offer a 5-mile drive for free. For longer distances, we can offer a paid pilot and can discuss the terms based on the desired mileage.
