# Step 2. Install the Roadly PRO app

To start road surveying you will need a Roadly PRO app. There're simple steps how to get and set up one: 

1. [Download](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/roadly-pro/id6476778274) and install Roadly PRO app on you iOS smartphone from the [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/roadly-pro/id6476778274).
2. Allow the Roadly PRO app to access your location and camera, otherwise, it won't be able to perform the recordings.
3. When launching the app for the first time, please log in using your email and password from the previous step.

Right now Roadly supports iPhone 11 or later smartphones. Full list of the supported devices can be found on he [Supported Devices List](/data-collection-tips/supported-devices-list.md) page. Please, note that the Roadly PRO app doesn't record any personal information except an email address that is necessary for the platform authentication.<br>
